PPS+ LGF 30% is a thermoplastic special engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive properties

 

1.Injection molding: Ordinary injection molding machines can be used, and the melting index of glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide is 50. The injection molding process conditions are: barrel temperature, pure PPS is 280~330℃, 40%GFPPS is 300~350℃; The nozzle temperature was 305℃ for pure PPS and 330℃ for 40%GFPPS. Mold temperature is 120-180℃; Injection pressure, 50-130MPA

 

2.Extrusion: the use of ventilation extruder, the process is: feed section temperature below 200℃; Cylinder temperature 300-340℃, connection temperature 320-340℃, mold temperature 300-320℃ 

 

PPS raw materials have general strength and good rigidity, but they are brittle and prone to stress brittleness. They are not resistant to organic solvents such as benzene and gasoline

 

After modification by adding glass fiber or other reinforcing materials, impact strength can be greatly improved, heat resistance and other mechanical properties are also improved. It is suitable for manufacturing heat-resistant parts, insulating parts and other auto parts, chemical instruments, optical instruments and other parts.
